With speakers from diverse theatre backgrounds, the conversation will focus on the visual and educational power of scenography and its relevance across various types of performances, from animation to youth theatre and formal education.

Ne permite peisajul teatral românesc actual să identificăm anumite direcții/ tendințe estetice sau, din contră, e dominat de o libertate în care fiecare creator are agenda lui? Sunt tendințele necesare într-o lume a imprevizibilului și a impredictibilului, a hibridului și a disoluției granițelor dintre arte sau țin de ambiția vetustă de a organiza și programa arta? Este astăzi cineva atât de influent în teatrul românesc încât să poată genera o direcție? De ce alegem temele acestea și nu altele? De ce optăm pentru aceste estetici și nu pentru altele? Cât de preocupați mai suntem pentru originalitate și cât de predispuși am devenit pentru aliniere? Câtă libertate avem și ce suntem dispuși să facem cu ea?

În ultimii ani, dramaturgia locală și-a câștigat un plus de vizibilitate și reprezentare în repertoriile teatrelor. În continuare însă, există puține contexte – rezidențe, spații de laborator și experiment, programe editoriale – care să genereze cadre de creație pentru dramaturgi și dramaturge. Care sunt modalitățile prin care producția de spectacole pe texte românești poate fi susținută, cum putem elabora programe care să sprijine autentic dramaturgia locală?
