About
The largest platform in Romania dedicated to performance design and stage technology.
Behind every performance stands a world built by designers, engineers, technicians, architects and artists. The Bucharest Scenography Biennale reveals this hidden world — and the people who build it.
BSB is an international biennale of art and design dedicated to scenography, performance design and stage technology. It continues the Bucharest Scenography Triennial, held in nine editions between 1967 and 1992, and returned in 2024 as a biennale.
The 2026 edition is built around W.O.R.K. — Women. Oppression. Resistance. Knowledge. — the theme of its central exhibition, curated by Irina Moscu, and of the BSB Talks panels.
Organised by Centrul Român OISTAT, alongside the National Theatre Festival.

From 16 to 25 October, the Biennale runs across exhibitions, panels, workshops, book launches and evening events.
