Amazon Puppets Workshop with Sean Crowley

This workshop offers a hands-on experience in puppet creation, using recycled materials such as cardboard from delivery services like Amazon, old newspapers, and other sustainable resources. Led by industry expert Sean Crowley, participants will learn how to design, cut, and assemble puppet bodies from these eco-friendly materials.

Workshop Structure

Trainer

Sean Crowley has worked across the design spectrum in film, opera, theatre, and television, designing over 200 productions during his 35-year career. He is currently the Head of Design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) and has served as Chair of the Society of British Theatre Designers. Sean has led major international design festivals such as World Stage Design and Scenofest at the Prague Quadrennial, and he continues to contribute to the development of future performance practitioners through his work as an educator and practitioner.
